A Heart Felt Thank You

A Heart Felt Thank You to everyone for all your words of encouragement and support. I'm back in Albuquerque now, back from the funeral, back from a very emotional week. They say time heals all wounds, and in time, things will get easier I'm sure.

God Bless,

Rich

  2. Rich,

Glad you're back. I've also been checking in to see how things were going for you this past week, and you have been (and will continue to be) in our thoughts and prayers. How did you do with YOAD while being gone? Were you put into situations where you had to eat a lot of "unYOADy" foods? In my own family, we celebrate and commiserate with food...lots of it.
Again, glad to see you back again.

  3. I have not been on the computer much lately as there has been much chaos in my life....not bad stuff necessarily, jsut a bit overwhelming. Anyway, I checked in here to see how you were doing and was sad to read the news of your brother. I am sorry for your loss. I have no siblings so I really cannot imagine what your loss must feel like. I will pray for you and your family to heal and get through this loss!

Did you see family that had not seen you in a while? I bet they were surprised if so!
I'm glad you are back and don't be hard on yourself if you are off track with journey for a while.

  5. Thanks for all the wonderful thoughts. In answer to the question, I have NOT been sticking to YOAD. It's the last thing on my mind. YOAD has taught me A LOT and I have tried to make the 'smart' choices, but what my brain says to pick and what I actually ate and picked were two different things. YOAD has given me a foundation and education and it will always be there, but for now, I have to heal other aspects of my being.

  6. No question Rich. You must heal before you can move forward.
I'm glad to see that you're home. My thoughts and prayers will remain with you. Please don't let your brothers passing to sabotage your health though. I'm sure that's the last thing in the world he would have wanted for you. For now, just do the best you can.
    We're all pulling for you.
    Soft hugs from AZ,
    Shannon
