Taking a Break

Ok, I'll be honest here. I've taken the last 4 days off. By 'off'', I mean, not walking my hour a day, and eating whatever I wanted. Tonight I feel like crap. I'm groggy, tired, feeling very blah. I fear hopping on the scale tomorrow. Have I given up? NOT ON YOUR LIFE. Call it a little experiment on my part. Tomorrow, it's back to the routine. Promise.

Never give up, never surrender.

  1. Hello Rich , My husband got his cholesterol results yesterday and his overall is 283 and all of his number were very high . I am so cioncerned as I have told you before he just doesnt seem to be trying to do better . He is a truck driver and there is really no time for him to exercise he has changed his diet somewhat . I myself walk every night after work and dinner .I have not lost any more weight though . Say a little prayer that he gets on track . Heart attacks and strocks run high in his family .

  3. Rena,

He CAN turn this around. HE has to do it though! I’m sure the medication will help lower the LDL, but he HAS to change his diet, and he has to exercise. I too have a history of heart attacks in my family. In fact, all males in my family with the exception of me, have had heart attacks. This includes, my grandfather, all my uncles, my father and my brother. My numbers from my blood tests are very good, and I contribute them to YOAD and exercising. Without that, I’m afraid I’d be another male statistic in my family. Get your husband to read my blog, look at my pictures, look at my blood test numbers. Let him know HE CAN DO IT TOO! But ultimately, it’s up to him. HE has to flip the switch and make it happen, YOU cannot do it for him, no matter how much you love him.
