Just What I Expected

Ok, after my little 4 day vacation of not walking and eating whatever, I gained 2 pounds. This is the first time I've gained on YOAD, but I guess I wasn't really 'ON' Yoad this week. It was an experiment. I have a theory, and I'll see next week if I was right. I'm not upset about the 2 pound gain, actually I expected to gain more than 2 pounds. But trust me, I have NOT given up and I am back on track now.

  1. Rich,

You still rock! I tell everyone about your website and have even started my own blog page, thanks to you. One day I hope to be brave enough to make my website public!

I weigh in tomorrow and hope to be down in inches and weight.

    Again, you're awesome!

And thanks! It really means a lot to me that I can be an inspiration to other people. It truly gives me a warm fuzzy.

  3. Howdy!

I lost one pound and one inch in my waist this past week, yet I'm really disappointed. I've been doing pilates this week (went 4 x) but admit I haven't done my 30 minutes of walking everyday. Ugh, I guess I was hoping for a "drum-rolling" change!

Nevertheless, YOAD is still the best "diet" I've ever done.

    Cheers.

  4. ok, maybe no drumroll, but a pound is a pound!! Remember, one meal at a time, one day at a time, one week at a time, one pound at a time. If you stay with it (and you can), you will get to where you want to be. Remember, slow and steady wins the race. Keep us updated, ok?!?!

I have lost over 57lbs and in June was married to the cousin of another one of your bloggers (DISNEYFAN)anyway so I dont think my wife would have noticed me had I not lost they weight , It is still melting off . She is the trainer at the gym I joined I met her last year and she didnt forget about me . So now at 42 I am finally and married man and have a cute step son .

  8. Well, I don't think anyone has actually 'hit' on me, but what I have noticed is that people have been a lot nicer to me. People that don't even know I've lost almost 70 pounds. Like I go to a store and it seems people are just nicer to me. The cashiers, customers, people I ask for help. It's a noticeable change from the way I use to be treated when I weighed almost 300 pounds.

Congratulations on your marriage and your weight loss as well!! Losing 57 pounds ROCKS!! What's your goal? What did you weigh when you started?
