I love the first one and I have lived by that for a few years now. I used to frequently talk myself out of things b/c I was scared or nervous but I have achieved so much since I have begun to talk myself into things instead! Have a great day! Stephanie
Rich.. This is my first time to your blog.. and let me tell you .. all this is amazing.. I woke up this morning very depressed.. because I am living a struggle for more than two years to lose 100 pounds now..
You'll find supportive friends here to help you, encourage you, and lift you up when you're down. We'll try to answer your questions if you have any.
My biggest piece of advice at this point, is NOT to look at the 100 pounds you have to lose, look at the 1 pound or the 1 inch that you CAN loose. And when you lose that 1 pound and that 1 inch, look at the next pound and inch you CAN lose. 100 pounds looks like a huge amount of weight, but if you take it one pound at a time, it's not so intimidating. There is no magic diet here, no magic pill, just diet and exercise. If YOU do your part, your body will do its part. Get up and walk, if you can't do 30 minutes at one time yet, do 10 minutes 3 times a day, BUT DO IT! GET UP, MOVE, AND EAT WELL. And soon you'll be doing 'the happy dance' along with everyone else.

Nice one, any one have anymore?
ReplyDeleteDara, I really like that one.
ReplyDeleteHere are a couple more I like...
"Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it."
Lou Holtz
"Always look at what you have left. Never look at what you have lost." Robert H. Schuller
That second one should be every widow's motto, I think. :-)
