The Plague

Ok, I'm sure it's not the plague, but I feel like death has marched over me and is coming back for seconds. No energy, sore throat, draining sinuses, etc. I'm expecting green pea soup to come spewing any second. wait, hold on..... ok, it's safe, false alarm. Needless to say, I haven't been walking. In fact, the only thing I have been doing is laying around doing nothing for 4 days now. Blah.

So how's your weekend?

Peace,

Rich

  1. Ooh...sorry your feeling bad. I guess it's that time of year when it's going to get the best of all of us this season. Hope you can get a day or two off of work to recoup.

    I'm interested in doing this...

What do you think? I've been doing pilates for almost 3 months (3 x a week on the machine) and have gained so much muscle that I'm really curious how much of my weight is really fat vs. muscle.

  3. Hi Rich...

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well...drink lots of liquids and hydrate yourself. Make sure you're getting enough vitamins during the illness.

I found a new breakfast that I thought I'd share. Morningstar Farms has a packet of product called "Breakfast Starters Classic Scramble." I made it as per the instructions on the bag, then took two whole wheat tortilla shells, and put some of the mixture in the shells. Instant Breakfast Burrito! And the tortillas I get have 7 grams of fiber in each one (they are from Sam's Club)!

I have enough mixture for four days of breakfast burritos...and I'm convinced that the stuff is good for you on YOAD.

Here's a link to the nutrition information (minus the tortilla).

  4. Im sorry to hear that you are so sick. I hope you are on the mend now since that post is a couple days old.

I for one had a great weekend activity wise but a BAD food weekend. I ate the first pizza I have had in I don't know how long, birthday cake, AND movie theatre popcorn. I felt so guilty Sunday night but sometimes I get to the point that I cave completely then I get back on and keep trying. I hope I don't gain this week as we started another contest and you have to add to the pot if you gain weight on the weekly weigh ins.

Anyway I hope everyone else is doing well and making good choices. I can't wait for Biggest Loser tonight....

  5. PS I looked up those hoodia pops - they are kind of pricy. Are they really worth it? How many do you eat a day?

    Thanks,
    Stephanie
